About Me

Hi, I'm Charlotte

I have been a triathlete for 12 years and have experienced many different triathlons and duathlons over the years and have raced and been successful at many different venues and distances from beginner local events to World Championships abroad.  

I started triathlon after having my second child and began the journey purely to get fit and have fun. My love for the sport grew over time and became more serious when I started competing at a higher level.

In 2020 I travelled to Spain to compete in the European Duathlon Championships where I finished 4th and 5th in my age group and  in 2021 I won bronze at the World Duathlon Championships in Romania. During this time I have gained much experience and knowledge about the sport and have now become a 1-2-1 coach. I have also participated in a strength and conditioning workshop to further enhance my knowledge to see how this is beneficial to triathlon and life in general

My general opinion of the purpose of sport is that it keeps us fit and healthy in both body and mind. If we wish to pursue it to a competitive level then brilliant but the outcome for me is that is should be enjoyable and it should achieve a feeling of well being when accomplished.

In everyday life I value my wonderful family and our good health. I love preparing healthy meals and have a great interest in food and nutrition which works well alongside triathlon coaching.

My Nutrition

I love eating good healthy food and so I make most of what I eat. Good nutrition is so important for athletes or anyone who wants to feel good. As part of my Triathlon Training Program I will give you recipes, advice and pre race diet sheets to ensure you last the distance.
