Shout out to my husband and athlete Simon Smith who completed the Beat Box Hill Ultra Trail Marathon at the weekend. The 50k run course (31 miles) took on Surrey’s biggest climbs off road and totalled a massive 4500ft of climbing – Simon completed the course in 5hrs and 1min to take 1st place in his age group – pretty awesome result for his first ultra marathon!
